Use for the quantitative determination of bitumen in hot-mixed paving mixtures ad pavement samples. the bitumen content is calculated by different from the weight of extracted aggregates, moisture content and ash from aliquot part of the extract.
The reflex extractor is available in two, 1000 g and g capacity models.
The apparatus comprises a cylindrical glass jar, two wire mesh cones with interlocking frames, a water condenser with inlet/outlet tubes, hot plate and 50 filter papers.
